Don’t waste your night season.

If a man is only for joy, his experiences will not be abundant.
Is life supposed to be about having a great time and staying at the mountain top or about commitment and responsibility? It is all about commitment and responsibility.   You won’t stay long at the mountain top if you have never been through the valley. Avoid shortcuts to the mountain. The valley teaches you how to behave while you are on mountain top. It  teaches you how to be responsible, how to talk and to have the right attitude. Always remember if the treasure is received easily then it loses its significance. The hard times in life teach us how to take care of the treasure.  Don’t waste your night season.

You carry the burden first so that you enjoy the ease, just like Jesus going through the cross before getting the crown. Just like Joseph going to the prison before getting to the palace.  Just like being sick so that you know God is your healer. Just like being cast down so that
you learn how to get up and shake the dust of. Just like going through the test then getting the results.

Don’t yearn for the easy way out.
A man who only yearns for the fruits alone is of no use! It’s like wanting to have a good marriage and you are not ready to work.
Our God does not work that way. If you only seek the easiest way, you’ll miss out on the best way. It’s good to get uncomfortable, it is good thing to suffer.

Suffering is a necessary part of the journey. Although he was a son, he learned OBEDIENCE through what he SUFFERED. And being made PERFECT, he became the SOURCE of eternal salvation to all who obey him,...Hebrews 5:8,9  The Lord’s obedience was learned through suffering.

True submission is found when there is still obedience in spite of suffering.
A man’s usefulness is not in whether he has suffered, but in whether he has learned obedience in suffering.
The suffering will never go away until you learn your lesson. Every suffering you undergo is an opportunity to learn obedience

(Job 23:10 But he knoweth my way, and has tried me as gold that passeth through the fire)

(Zechariah 13:9 This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, 'They are my people,' and they will say, 'The LORD is our God)

God tries us because we are of great value.  God would not let you go through fire and trying moments if you were like charcoal but you are like gold you can endure the heat and come out polished and more valuable and shinning for His glory
Blessed Weekend, Masinga.

Coming Back

A good thing to do as life goes on is to come back to ourselves analyze what we are doing. You could be going so fast yet making no progress or bearing fruits. You could be still be doing a good thing and yet making no progress. Progress is so important in your journey. Don't cheat to yourself keep it a 100 and analyze your journey to see what you are becoming and making. I don't believe it’s a good position to get comfortable with everything in your life. We are a work in progress nobody has arrived yet. There is still a lot that you can do.

The prodigal son was moving so fast, with money and a lot of pleasure but he was making no progress. Ouch! This is not a good place to be, having pleasure; having what you want in life yet in your spirit and soul you are breaking.

When things are not working out in your life, come back to yourself. You don't need more money or a better man so that you get back on track but a new attitude and mindset. (You know this kinda things that people say....I wish I had a lot of money things would be okay now, I wish I had a better man, I know I will be okay when I get the new job...)

The prodigal son did something wise and very important.
(Luke 15:17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death)
The bible says he came back to his senses. A good thing to do when things are not working out, in your relationship, life, job, family is always come back to yourself. The word says he asked Himself, how many people are in my father’s place enjoying…
The question that you ask yourself in the midst of darkness is always important. Come back to yourself and ask yourself the right question.

(Luke 15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you.....) Yes you have to rise up, you will have to stretch and come out from the comfort zone. See the Father doesn't get back to you but you get back to the Father. Why? Our Father makes no mistake but we do. It is your job to rise and get back to the Father. Just like the Prodigal son repenting your sins is very important when you are getting back. When we don't repent we keep repeating! To repent means to know your mistake, ask for forgiveness and stop doing it.

At first the Prodigal son only new His father as a provider but after things happened and he came to himself he saw his father in a different view. Challenges are good; they keep us going back to our Father. They help us understand Him better

Never sit on the sideline waiting for someone to come and rescue you. Refuse to sit on the fence; get back on track, On His word. God does not respond to our self-pity feelings, out worry. God responds to faith and His word. Let Him found you standing on the word and not your feelings and fear. The quicker you get off the road of pity party and get to agree with His word, the better for you. It doesn't matter what is happening but what you choose to do, the attitude you pick and what you believe it matters the most.

God is your only refuge, not much money, not a better man, not a better job, not a bigger house, but God Alone.
You can absolutely depend fully on His integrity. Don’t forget to always keep coming back

When You Pray

Luke 11:1 Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.” So He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Jesus said: when you pray, say …. He did not say if you pray; that means prayer is a MUST. Prayer is a way of living. Prayer is not a reaction to situations; it’s not what you use to avoid issues in life but rather what you use to go through it. It is more than lifting your hands and crying before God and presenting your needs. Prayer is not where you order things but where you get the wisdom to handle things.

Prayer should not be based only on what’s going in your life but also what the Father wants to be going on in your life. When you pray it’s not things that should drive you but a relationship that you have with God. Jesus said in the Lord’s Prayer...Our Father in heaven that means you should have a relationship with the Father. That's why prayer should not always be based on what you want but also what the Father wants.

 "Our Father in heaven
Hallowed be Your name"
See you begin with giving Praise but not asking. Focus more on the giving, let the asking come later just like in the Lord’s prayer "Give us each day our daily bread." is not the first thing. So many times I've been focusing only on the daily bread and forgetting to give praise. Don’t let the daily bread get in the way of your Praise.

He is your Father, you Creator. When talking to Him, speak to He is like your Father not like you are begging. Time to come out of beggarly prayers! God if you really care, God why me, God are you there... Prayer is not trying to convince God to have mercy!

The Lord’s prayer begins with Our Father Who art in Heaven.. The start of a prayer is recognizing your Father. Are you rooted to your Father in heaven or just your provider? It is the best thing to know Him as your Father, not just your provider, healer, protector and all that.

When praying pray with His word. Speak His word over your situation. God goes by His word, not what you are feeling, when praying speak His word, He is bound by His word. The bible says God accomplishes what HE says in the word, you want to get the Fathers full attention? Pray on His word rather than your feelings and fears.

What are you praying for? God will not answer a prayer that will glorify us than Him or help our temptations. Our Prayers will not be answered when they are against God's Will.
("If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us" (1 John 5:14)

Don’t waste your time praying if you have unforgiveness. If we don't forgive others we make it impossible for God to forgive us. He said this to us, "Matthew 6:14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you" Unforgiveness will stop the flow of worship and stop prayers from being answered.

A prayer based on feelings will always demand quick answers. And what happens when you want something badly and you don’t get it? Your become weak and start complaining and accusing God. Don’t base your prayer life on feelings. Feelings care about what you feel right now, wisdom waits and thinks about the consequences, wisdom thinks about what will happen later on.

God Bless You.... Get Your Prayer On!
